In short

  • When you buy something through a link on pingdeals, the store may pay us a commission.
  • You pay the same price. The commission comes out of the store’s margin, not your cart.
  • Deals our team picks carry an Editor pick label.
01

How affiliate links work

Every “Buy on …” button on pingdeals is an affiliate link. It sends you to the store with a tag that tells the store you came from us. If you buy something within the store’s tracking window (each store sets its own), the store pays us a small percentage of the sale.

This is how we keep the site free to use. You never pay more for using our links, and you don’t have to buy anything.

02

Programmes we belong to

We take part in the affiliate programmes of the stores we link to, which include Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra and AJIO. Each deal shows which store it’s from before you click.

As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.

03

How deals are ordered

The default “Featured” order on category and search pages is set in this sequence:

  1. 1Deals our team has pinned to the top of that page, marked Editor pick.
  2. 2Deals our team has marked as featured or given a higher priority.
  3. 3Everything else, by the size of the discount, then by how recently it was updated.

You can always re-sort by price, discount, rating or newest, and filter by brand, price, size and more. Those orders are purely mechanical and nothing is pinned in them.

04

Prices and availability

Prices, discounts, stock and offer end times are accurate as of when we list or update a deal, but stores change them often, sometimes within minutes. The price shown at the store’s checkout is the one that counts. If a deal has ended, we mark it and stop promoting it as soon as we notice.

Ratings shown next to a deal are the store’s rating at the time we listed it, and the “MRP” is the maximum retail price the store shows. Both can change on the store’s side after we list a deal.

05

What we record when you click

When you click a “Buy on …” button, your browser passes through a short redirect on our side before it reaches the store. At that moment we count the click and record which deal it was for, which page you clicked from, and the country the request came from.

We use these counts to see which deals people find useful. We don’t ask for your name or email to use the site. Once you reach the store, it sets its own cookies under its own privacy policy, which is how it credits the sale to us.
